Instigated in September 2022 by local resident Michael Anderson and former Jazz Curator at Colchester Arts Centre, Steve Wright, The Music Mix comprises a group of volunteers with a passion for Jazz, Blues, World Music, and Flamenco.

We are a not-for-profit organisation, not a business/commercial enterprise. Any profits generated are ploughed back to broaden the calibre of artists we wish to showcase, and to invest in relevant items and equipment to improve the audience experience.

Wherever possible, we endeavour to organise a varied programme of events at William Loveless Hall and Wivenhoe Congregational Church in a welcoming cabaret-style environment, allowing the community to see emerging and established artists on their own doorstep, rather than have to travel to venues outside the village.

We also have a reasonably priced licensed bar.
