WHO WE ARE

Instigated in September 2022 by local resident, the now late Michael Anderson, and former Jazz Curator at Colchester Arts Centre, Steve Wright, The Music Mix comprises a group of volunteers with a passion for jazz, world, and contemporary music.

We are a not-for-profit organisation, not a business/commercial enterprise. Any profits generated are ploughed back to broaden the calibre of artists we wish to showcase, and to invest in relevant items and equipment to improve the audience experience.​

We organise an exciting and eclectic programme of events in a welcoming, mainly cabaret-style environment at our new base,

Wivenhoe Congregational Church.

Depending on the artist, it's occasionally just seats only.

We have a reasonably priced, pop-up licensed bar located in the church hall. Teas and coffees are available in the church.
