Instigated in September 2022 by the late Michael Anderson, and former Jazz Curator at Colchester Arts Centre, Steve Wright, The Music Mix comprises a group of volunteers with a passion for jazz, world, and contemporary music.

A not-for-profit organisation hosting a brilliant monthly programme of world-class music, our events aim to bring people together for an intimate evening of superbly crafted live music in a welcoming, mainly cabaret-style setting at Wivenhoe Congregational Church.

We showcase top-drawer UK and overseas musicians and/or songwriters so you can experience outstanding performances first-hand.
