Tristan

Something Like This
04 Diamonds

+ DJ sets from Jimmi Dixon & Dave Malone!

''The best of the seventies brought to 2024,'' said Toto guitarist and singer Steve Lukather when he first heard Dutch group Tristan.

A keen sense of classic soul, funk, R&B, and pop allied to funky rhythm guitars, Hammond, Fender Rhodes, and synths, plus ultra-tight, Steely Dan-like solid grooves, are Tristan's trademarks.

While their music has echoes of Tower of Power, Snarky Puppy, and Brand New Heavies, it's the band's excellent compositions and tight, punchy arrangements that shine through, underpinning singer Jaycilee Teterissa's stunningly beautiful and soulful vocals.

Tristan's 2014 debut release, Full Power, and their highly acclaimed 2015 follow-up, 2nd Phase, both hit No. 1 in the UK

soul charts. This was followed by Lifestyle (2016), Live inConcert (2017), The Spice of Five (2019), What Could Possibly Go Wrong (2021), and their latest offering, the appropriately titled Seven.

Expect quality tunes by five absolutely top-drawer musicians whose energy and charisma are off the charts, which is why they have constantly been delighting audiences worldwide!

Prior to Tristan taking the stage, legendary DJs Jimmi Dixon and Dave Malone will be spinning some floor-fillers to get you in the mood for the groove!

2024 UK Blues Awards Emerging Act of the Year nominee

Dubbed by the blues and soul cognoscenti as 'the next big thing', Connolly Hayes is already creating a stir within and beyond the blues/rock/soul community, based mainly on the reputations of principal members Frankie Connolly and Jess Hayes.

The band already has a stellar reputation for live performances thanks to two of the most soulful voices around, guitar wizardry from both sides of the stage, and the grooviest rhythm section going.

A blues-fuelled, soulful singer/songwriter with a powerhouse voice, Jess first emerged onto the South London scene as a teenager, having been raised on the classic sounds of artists and bands such as Stevie Nicks, Bad Company, Bonnie Raitt, and Little Feat by her musician parents.

Rapidly gained a reputation among those in the know, as well as being the  ‘go-to’  singer of choice for  ex-Mud  member  and

noted songwriter Rob Davis, Jess received some prime-time exposure on ITV’s The Voice, turning all four chairs.

More importantly, Jess has found her own ‘voice’ as a songwriter with this new project with her friend Frankie, who himself has gained a stellar reputation as both a great singer and astonishing guitar player, wowing crowds wherever he has played, including Ronnie Scott's and several major festivals.

However, Connolly Hayes isn't just a duo but a fully-fledged band, featuring an ultra-tight rhythm section, and have released their debut album, Remember Me, to coincide with an extensive European and UK tour.

Hold on tight; it should be quite a ride!
